Doors & Drawers Rugby / Coventry

Having worked as a regional sales manager for seven years Ian Wyper was looking for a business opportunity that would see him benefit more from his hard work and achievements.

"I came across Doors & Drawers at a Lifestyle exhibition and was immediately taken by the concept. The franchise was reasonably priced and the potential for immediate profit was obvious. The more I looked into the opportunity the more excited I became."

Ian launched his franchise in 2001 and hasn’t looked back since. Although he did not have any experience in the kitchen industry the two-week training course and subsequent back up he received allowed for a smooth start up and he was soon signing up orders. ‘My turnover increased steadily from day one and in my second year I turned over well in excess of £200 000. Not bad from an initial investment of only £10 000!

There is a comprehensive start up pack and extensive training course backed up by a user-friendly operations manual, which certainly represents value for money. This coupled with the fact that I am able to run the business from home without holding stocks meant that my initial investment was kept to a minimum. The Doors & Drawers concept allows me to be in business for myself but not by myself. The back up and support at both the start up stage and on an ongoing basis has been fantastic and allows me to concentrate my efforts on growing my business.’
